Quick Review

I haven’t played a surfing computer game since the days I was addicted to California Games on my Commodore 64. My daughter’s Playstation games I find boring. So I was stoked to discover there’s a new surfing game available – Surf World Series.

The beginner sessions in a wave pool easy enough to keep you hooked, yet tricky enough to be challenging. My daughter (age 9) loves it, and I’ll always remember the moment she was jumping for joy after getting her first tube ride (virtually). Maybe this could be the key to getting her into surfing?

About Surf World Series

Surf World Series lets you smash some dream tricks and ride monster waves at 5 legendary surfing destinations.

Master your moves with 44 single player challenges or compete online against up to 15 other players across 3 different game modes to become an online surf legend!

Authentic surfing thrills: Developed in Unreal Engine 4, Surf World Series offers the ultimate custom built wave system combining stellar waves and a realistic swell. You’ll feel the current pull against your board as you battle to stay balanced, stick the landing on massive aerials, and ride out the heaviest waves.

Legendary surfing locations: Surf five of the world’s most infamous surfing destinations, including Bell’s Beach (Australia), Waimea Bay (Hawaii), Supertubos (Portugal), Caimba do Padre (Brazil), and Jeffreys Bay (South Africa). Each location offers afternoon, evening, night, and bad weather variations with different waves and visual aesthetics. Combine this with a unique selection of original arcade tricks and gear for even more variety.

Hone and test your skills: Prepare to dominate the leaderboard with 45 single player challenges, or rinse the competition in online tournaments against up to 15 other surfers. Compete across 3 game modes Big Heat Battle; Championship and Survival.

Design your own signature surfer: With six playable characters and tens of thousands of customizations, you’ll have the freedom to design your own slick style and stand out from the crowd. As you build up your skill set, performing new tricks and ranking up, you’ll unlock countless classic and original designs for everything from wetsuits to boards, patterns, and more.

Can’t wait to win a free game code? Go to the Surf World Series official website and buy a copy now whilst it’s on sale. Sale ends 31st December 2017.
